    About the Job

    CMS is currently looking for a qualified software support representative to work in our Baton Rouge office.  The position provides front line technical support for our medical software suite directly to customers via phone, email, and other mediums.  The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, verbal and written, is self-motivated, and committed to the values and success of our organization.  The candidate must also be highly attentive to detail, have a strong and dedicated work ethic, and must work well in a team environment.

     

    Qualifications per Tier

    • Tier I Support Representative:
      • Basic requirements of position

    • Tier II Support Representative:
      • Basic requirements of position; 5+ years of experience; Prior use of SQL, scripting, or programming languages.

    • Tier III Support Representative:
      • Basic requirements of position; 8+ years of experience; Prior work experience with SQL scripting or programming languages.

     

    Job Requirements:

     

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide customer support via phone and email.
    • Utilize remote control software to assist customers in resolving technical issues.
    • Document all customer interactions in case management software in a timely manner.
    • Manage case load by promptly answering support related emails, phone calls, and other communications.
    • Assist developers and other support technicians with obtaining data for troubleshooting purposes.

     

    Position Requirements:

    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
    • Remain positive and professional during challenging calls.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
    • Able to stay focused and driven in a high paced, high pressure environment.
    • Able to learn and understand new technology quickly.
    • Medical experience preferred, but not required.
    • SQL experience preferred, but not required.
    • Previous customer service experience a plus.
